Update Tuesday, December 2

Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art.
Thou my best thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my Wisdom, Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee, Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Be Thou my battle-shield, sword for my fight,
Be Thou my dignity, Thou my delight.
Thou my soul's shelter, Thou my high tower.
Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.

Riches I heed not, nor man's empty praise,
Thou mine inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

High King of heaven, my victory won,
May I reach heaven's joys, O bright heav'ns Son!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my vision, O ruler of all.

As I have spent the day listening to God and contemplating some personal circumstances, as my reduced vision, these lyrics are where I want my life to be maintained. Specifically, I want a greater vision of His glorious Person and of His ways, so that I can communicate that to others. You might personally enjoy going to YouTube and hearing Fernando Ortega sing this song. Continually, we are appreciating your prayers and your love and looking forward to our times of fellowship and worship.

Pastor Chris and Eunice:
Your words inspire daily. Thank you for your inspiration, as the inner strength you possess is God working in ways you don't even know! There are many in Colorado praying for you :) You have more friends than you ever realized! As I sat down to practice piano this evening after decorating the tree and thanking God for the many blessings He gives daily, the song "It Is Well with my Soul" became my prayer. You two remain in our prayers daily, as well as your family. I cannot wait to see you soon! With much love, Tobi & McKenna Hunter

"Men, ought always to pray and not to faint." Luke 18:1

"When we pray on the ground of Redemption, God creates something He can create in no other way than through intercessory prayer." Oswald Chambers

Chris and Eunice, we pray continually, looking to our God to do that which He alone can do; may He be your Jehovah Rophe, the Lord who heals.

Our hearts are stayed on God,

Dear Chris and Eunice,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. WOCS is remembering you in prayer at our devotion time each morning and I thinig of you often throughout the day. As I look at the picture of your family on the stairs, could you name everybody for us, as it has been a long time since we have seen the kids. Eunice, I love you and pray for you often.

Pastor Chris and Eunice, You are ever in my prayers. We are witnessing a stronger comittment of relying on the Lord in prayer. We have made a renewal of praying for you and for our whole Church family because of the trials you are undergoing. God Bless you fully. Jer. 30:11,17

I am wanting to say so much but my thoughts are faster than my typing and longer than I should probably write here.:)
We miss you both so much and look forward to your homecoming. I saw Bethany and Lauren the other day at WM and Juliet is taking good care of them.
A verse that really spoke to me this week is from Psalms 30 verse 5: WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT, BUT JOY COMES IN THE MORNING.
Chris thank you for your encouraging words today. I needed that myself.
We love you both

Chris & Eunice,
It is amazing to find that God is at work even when we don't realize He is. You both are such an inspiration of relying on His strength. As someone has already said we have come to a deeper level of dependence upon our Heavely Father since one of our brothers is in need. Please know you are never far from our thoughts and continually in our prayers.
Love you both,
Ted & Dixie

Pastor Chris and Eunice,
This morning in my devotional time, I came upon this verse from 2Corinthians 2:15-16
"For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life."
I just want you to know you both bring the sweet aroma of Christ to me. I see God's grace being poured into your lives. And your testimony is the perfect seedbed for God's awesome power to work. God bless you in whatever this day brings. I pray He surprises you with His presence in ways you don't expect. You're loved, Barb and Gary
Gary says to tell you he's doing his best to keep up with Stacie and the kids, but they all are missing YOU a bunch, especially Nathan.
